Fishermen’s Huts and Stores

In some fishing communities with Fishermen’s Societies, Co-operatives or Associations, the fishermen rent huts from their Association by the beach. They use these for storing their nets, outboard engines, kerosene and other equipment.

Fishermen’s stores on a fishing beach on the North West coast. Many shelter from the hot sun whilst  on lookout for the sea birds that shadow shoals of fish. They can then quickly put to sea.
